The Rapid Transit System By & For America

Did you know that the majority of mass transit technologies considered for American installations are not created by Americans? Even the American theme park icon, Walt Disney World, uses a monorail system that is a provided by a Canadian-based company. Is there anything wrong with this? Not intrinsically. But if it means that Americans are paying more in either direct costs or tax subsidies, yet getting less, that IS a problem.

We believe that, given a level playing field, HighRoad, HighRail and the OTG Silver Bullet technologies far surpass the competition in performance and ease of installation while at the same time costing less. Unfortunately, there are some real-world issues that come into play: 1) decision-makers generally enjoy making visits to foreign locales to view existing systems, 2) the US government subsidizes foreign technologies, and 3) foreign governments subsidize overseas promotion of their technologies. Even though foreign technologies receive support in competition, HighRoad costs remain well below theirs. For the thrill of a "foreign fact-finding visit", we just recommend they take the scenic route to our offices.

Part of what makes HighRoad exciting is not only its ability to substantially impact traffic congestion in a positive way, but also to provide jobs. A single community with the potential for manufacturing the system locally could create employment for over two thousand American workers. As the demand for transportation solutions continues to grow, employment opportunities will continue to grow beyond the completion of the local system.

In HighRoad, Americans will gain...

  • A comprehensive, lower cost, full service mass transit system
  • A new industry offering thousands of new, American jobs
  • An all-American product for worldwide export
